Camp Banksia is a modern 148 bed beachside camp and conference centre at Port Sorell. Nestled into a six hectare bush setting it caters for pre-booked school, sport, community, church, business, and family groups.

There are 22 six birth cabins with bunk beds arranged in clusters of five or six. Each cluster has its own set of three showers and toilets, all free. All rooms have electric heating. Guests need to supply their own pillow and bedding as well as a towel and all toiletries.

As well, there is Banksia Retreat which is a separate facility with 2 en-suite rooms (each with a double bed and four bunk beds & TV), a kitchen/dining room plus an extra room with 2 bunk beds. All bedding, linen & towels are supplied. Total sleeping capacity is 14. Banksia Retreat is away from the main camp accommodation and can, therefore, be used separately or in conjunction with the rest of the camp.

The main dining hall and function room is a large sunny building well suited to conferences and seminars.

On site there are playing fields, a canoe pond and sports hall with a half size basketball court (which can be set up for volley ball, net ball, indoor bowls and badminton).

There are additional meeting rooms, an undercover barbecue area and a free laundry.

The camp is adjacent to a popular beach, a cycle way, golf course and nature reserve. It is a 10 minute walk to local shops and a 15 minute drive to Devonport.

Accommodation only: $20 per person per night
Full catering and accommodation: Adults $44.50, 12 to 16 yrs $39.90, 6 to 11yrs $37.50.

Banksia Retreat (All bedding, linen and towels supplied).

Accommodation: From $60 per one or two people per night (low season) plus $20 each extra adult or $15 each extra child. Weekly discounts apply.
